Manveer serves on Travis Unified School District Governing Board, giving him a deeper understanding of strategic planning, executive oversight, and community building.
He currently works at Plug and Play, focused on corporate innovation and early-stage investments. Their he supports the defense practice, where he has evaluated over 100 defense tech startups for potential investment and has assisted partners with national security-aligned initiatives. Previously he worked in investment banking and private equity focused in real estate.
Manveer earned a B.A. in Economics with a Minor in Political Science from UC Davis and an A.S. in Natural Science and Mathematics from Napa Valley College. In his free time, he likes working out and keeping up with all things Star Wars.

Following that, he served as Director and Head of Bioinformatics at MedGenome, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
Currently, Dr. Sathirapongsasuti is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Oligolic, where he leads scientific strategy and development in cutting-edge biotechnological solutions. He also serves as Entrepreneur in Residence for Travis Phoenix Spark, focused on fostering innovation within the Air Force community. In addition, he's the Co-Owner of Sunset Cellars, a boutique winery in Northern California.
Dr. Sathirapongsasuti earned a B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University, M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, M.A. in Biostatistics from Harvard University, and a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University.
Colonel Hammerschmidt, a distinguished veteran of the United States Air Force, has a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of technology and aviation. As the former 60th Maintenance Group Commander at Travis Air Force Base, he supervised multiple aircraft maintenance and Aerial Port squadrons, managing over 2,200 active, civilian, and reserve personnel.
Colonel Hammerschmidt provided vital support to Air Mobility Command's largest wing. He was responsible for the maintenance of a diverse fleet, including 18 C-5, 13 C-17, and 27 KC-10 aircraft, as well as transient aircraft. He served as the logistics subject matter expert on all aircraft maintenance and aerial port support issues for the 60th Air Mobility Wing.
